For few love can last a lifetime.......

Never be sad for what is over, just be glad that it was once yours........

I was stern; it was one of those feelings when one is immovable and way too tough to be hurt or loved. It’s funny but true. I was so sure that to me love would never hold a meaning. It would just be one of those topics I could advice my friends on for hours, those who have apparently fallen for it and I somewhow wanted them to believe in it. (Well y shud my reasons for not loving affect their decision of looking forward towards a new life ) I had become, u can't say immune but numb towards that feeling. In every girls life there will always be those three guys...the one she loves, the one she hates, and the one she can’t get enough of...and in the end...they're all the same guy. Many came and went, tried their best to get me out of this somewhat comfort zone of just living life for the heck of it. My friends lectured me for hours and days. Yes, I too tried to love and carry on but never found anyone worth living for, worth sacrificing all the pain and hurt I had been through for so long. It always turned out that the other person was there for his selfish reasons or was nowhere close to being compatible. A time had come when I took it as my utmost resort to live life that way, party, get high, act funny, and sleep it off! Next day wake up, sleep in lectures and watch him crib for me to come back. Trying to forget someone you loved is like trying to remember someone you never knew. Ofcourse I was tough but not heartless, and unlike any other girl, I used to melt and give way to his pleadings again and again. It was like I had no choice but to forget and accept all his flaws probably because I had never been loved by anyone more.

Then came up this hasty yet thoughtful move of going to Bombay for a job offer! Now who would want to go that far, leaving behind all her frenz, family, places and above all her very being just to experiment with this new life. But ya there are crazy people out there, crazy in your lingo but in mine I would call them people wanting to live their lives their way! And there we were, my bestie, me and ofcourse a so called frend who apparently got us the job. A long week of farewell parties follwed and finally we left for the new city. Though we had been there a couple of times but on a vacation not any longer, strange it all was coz this time I was not happy being there. A city that seems to be full of excitement and energy had suddenly started to drain away all what I had.
It was one of those usual nights when I was sitting at the window baffling with my thoughts and this guy happened to come up and sit beside me. A bit hesitant at first, both of us started with the small talk about our families, then gradually friends and even better past relationships! A night wasn't enough for both of us to complete the talk and to confide in the other with things both of us wanted to share. So it stretched for 3 consecutive nights and till then we were both somewhat acquainted to almost all important aspects of each others past and aspirations of future. And strange as it may sound but these 3 sessions of ours brought us so close that on the 4th night, while we were out drinking and having fun, the 2 of us seemed to be engrossed between ourselves as if we had known each other past ages! And then came the expected yet 'a li'l late' call declaring that he did like me. (Awww I mean, ofcourse I knew it the very first day but was wondering what took him so long).

September would be our 5th month together and I don't want to generalise it by saying it 'seems like we have spent 5 years together!' Coz that's certainly not how "we" feel! Either of us don't think that far, we live for the present and at the max for the next couple of days. We love spending the day together with ofcourse the night outs tagged as complimentary gifts! We plan for the next day depending on his class timings and my office hours and at the max decide where we would go on the coming weekend. With each passing day our bond grows stronger and stronger. And you won't believe a silly argument of the kind ' you did not call me at night' or ' you wore a skirt today' or even better ' you are so mean you did not remind me of going to the tailor today!' Have huge impacts on our lives! Probably because we hardly fight like others out there, who have some real serious issues or we would call it 'real life drama!' I love his every little gesture, right from when he pushes his hair towards the back from his forhead to the time when he hugs me in a way that he would never let go of me.

And here I am, and I actually am. No more the same but any day better. They say, “Love knows no boundaries, no distance and no fear.”  How I wish I could explain what he means to me. I so wish I could be half as loving as him. There are times when I actually doubt my happpiness coz he is someone who makes me happy by just being there for me each time I need someone to hold on to. If I would say I love him, it would certainly be an understatement. I would say "I adore him!"

P.S.: No matter how many times I’m hurt because of you, I still won't leave you, because even if I have a hundred reasons to leave you, I'll still look for that one reason to fight for you.

U make me smile :)

It was one of those evenings when I was at home, all bored being home all day with nothing to do, sitting in front of the TV when my grandmother joins me. I was watching the movie, “Anjana Anjani” when this song is played “Tujhe Bhula Diya.” Now it happens to be a one time favourite of most of us. With full emotions and concentration I reach towards the remote control to increase the volume when my grandmother prompts, “Beta yeh wahi wala gaana hai na, Bhula Diya hai tujhko.” And there I was laughing hard at her wrong lyrics and wondering that ‘ya the song is indeed famous.’ And a minute later she asks me, “Yeh ro kyun raha hai, Hero.” I was still half way in the previous comment when this one came up. Awww she’s so cute and so are all grannies.
They are the ones who love you not because u love them but because they are made to love u!
P.S. I love my Dadi.

Thank you :)

LOVE
It’s a four letter word.
Won’t it be simple, I mean fuck simple if it began and ended at just that?!
Sometimes the simple task of saying a casual “I love you” lands you into the deepest shit whereas there are times when you sit and ponder upon the fact that shit! Why didn’t I just say it then…
This word to me is an equivalent of safety, trust, faith, friendship, shelter, familiarity all rolled into one package called LOVE! Love is often that taken for granted feeling. Too often we hurt much more than we can repair; its already planned somewhere at the back of our head that is what I want and this is how I will have my way. So we move on in life with are pre-defined notions as to how things will be and how will we react to each and every situation. Too often, sadly, it doesn’t turn out to be that way. And when it doesn’t we have our own version of what we term as experience. We sit and brood over what happened. And then think some more over what could have possibly happened. And then some more over what is going to happen now that all this has actually happened? (Okay, too much confusion, sorry!)
So I was here trying to express my views on love. Love can be defined as this things which lands you into DEEP dreadfully, unending crap which you carry on with you for the rest of your life. I maybe talking like someone who has been cheated or betrayed or hurt deeply and like an old hag am taking out all the vices of love but that isn’t the case.
On the other hand it can be the most beautiful feeling one will experience. The familiarities of a loved one’s touch the slight shrug of his shoulders and the adorable smile on his face. The tight hug, the whiff of his smell, the locking of glances and the ruffling of his hair. Sigh! It’s a pity none of it lasts.
So, to sum up with it... Enjoy it while it lasts. DON’T regret for even a tiny moment what you did or rather what you didn’t. You did what you wanted to and you must live with it. Meanwhile HAPPY LOVING!

When everything happens for a reason...

Who doesn't have issues in life ?
We all come across a point when all we can say is, "I give up"
Things happen which totally baffle us.
We have no idea where life is taking us.
Most unwanted things happen at the most inappropriate times.
When you feel, this is it..nothing can get worse.. a new issue pops up !
As aptly said by someone,"wow ! Like the one's which existed weren't enough !"
And in the end, all we are left to do is... wonder why... OH WHY is all this ever even happening...

This is normal right ? Happens to each one of us?
I am no exception to this.
Even though normalcy has never been in power with me, well in this one aspect, I honestly have been no exception.

But at the end of it, all I'd say is

Someday everything will make perfect sense...
So when things mess up...
And all you wish to do is GIVE UP....
DON'T !
Just laugh at the confusion...
Smile through the tears...
And keep reminding yourself...
“Everything happens for a reason.”

It's not about you or me, but about us and we !! (So here comes the title as decided by both of us!)

“I love that you get cold when it’s 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle in your nose when you’re looking at me like I’m nuts. I love that after I spend day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it’s not because I’m lonely, and it’s not because it’s New Year’s Eve. I am here today because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”–Harry Burns (Billy Crystal), When Harry Met Sally(1989).

"Love who you love
With all that you have
And don't waste the time that flies so fast
Love who you love
And say that you do
Hold on as tight as they'll let you
Love who you love…"

How often do we just presume that the other person knows we love them, isn't that obvious?
We live in our own niche world refusing to bother others… why should I keep reminding that person, why do i be the nagging one? Isn't it BUT OBVIOUS?

The answer many a times is NO!

Well, as far as most people are concerned they need to be reminded that they are loved. Someone to be there to tell them that no matter what course life takes there will be a certain someone out there to look out for you, and that someone will be the ones who love you. :)

so next time don't presume. Just say it!
you never know when it maybe the last time you may watch them sleep,
you never know when it maybe the last time you watch them walk out the door,
you never know when it maybe the last time you tuck them good night,
you never know when it maybe the last time you just give a casual hug,

so give that extra little love each time, a tighter hug, a firmer shake, a happier nod, a friendlier bye and a little more time...!

I can be mean, I can be rude. I can be the most evil person you've known. I can be insensitive and not care about what effect the words I say have on you.
It’s all a part of me…
As they say there's a dark side of the moon…
I say things that hurt people... and after a while I realize and repent
But, the truth is… All the bad things I am, I let you know.
It’s just like saying "I love you" at the most random moment and taking you by surprise”.
It’s god damn easy to show how bad you are than to prove how good you've been.

So this one comes up way too late but yes the day you made me feel loved I took a start and feel like I can go on!

For me darkness and gloom seemed to be a part of my life,
Yet somehow I managed to see a sunbeam through the clouds
When I quietly reflect in my mind, it is you whom I see
I cherish all our special moments, no matter how small !
Be it him helping me fold my clothes or covering me with a sheet.
The times when he would finish my food and then hug me saying I made him proud!

The pint of our relationship has always been over flowing with drama…

“You are too much into your new friends…”
“You don't care about my feelings…”
“You don't share anything anymore…”

These are the words I generally get to hear from him when he's angry…
But till date, a little sorry and a warm hug kills all the drama and he is willing to be by my side again, holding on to me every time I am not strong enough to keep myself upright…
Yeah I do have to face a lot of 'why's' and 'what's'

"I don't like that guy... I don't want you to talk to him"
"Why was your phone busy?"
"Why haven't you reached home yet?"

But that is how it is supposed to be, right?
Being protected, being cared, being loved…

It is amazing to know that you have some one to look after you, to lean on when you are tired, to cry on his shoulder when you are upset, to hold his hand when you are afraid…
It is so easy with him…
I don't have to look my best when I have to go out with him… I don't have to sound sober and decent while talking to him...
I can cry with pouring eyes and wipe my nose on his shirt…
He sucks at expressing how much he cares for me but does stupid little things which make my heart melt…

He makes life so much simpler... so much more easier… so much more lively…

It is not about how we forget, but how we forgive each other...
Not about how we listen, but how we understand each other…
Not about how we are, but how we feel for each other…
Not about how we let go, but how we hold on to each other...

He is not my boyfriend…
He is just HIM..
And I love him for that <3

“There are millions of people in this world, but in the end it all comes down to one. I still panic sometimes, forget to breathe, but I know that there's something beautiful in my imperfections; the beauty that he held up for me to see.”
